With guests travelling from near and far, Celeste and Taylor opted for a hinterland slice of the Gold Coast. They offered various neighbouring wedding and pre-wedding accommodation options for their bridal party and made use of the Bower Estate cottage for bridal preparations. Guests were then picked up via the pre-organised Bower bus and made their way up to the truly breathtaking outdoor hill view ceremony location, to find their seats. After a beautiful ceremony of exchanged wedding vows, and heartfelt tears, guests enjoyed leisurely sunset drinks and canapés under the fig tree, while the bride and groom were off to capture romantic moments across The Bower Estate's many breathtaking locations. Guests were then invited into the marquee to enjoy a night of dinner and dancing under the brightness of the twinkling stars.
One of our favourite events for all over styling and florals, the colour palette of Celeste and Taylors big day was driven by a soft white, with subtle hints of blush pink throughout. The ceremony aisle was adorned with single stem white roses leading to a dramatic arbour exploding in white orchids and roses against a backdrop of Bower Estate Magnolia and Macadamia greens. Bridesmaids were in all white, with matching bouquets making the ceremony and bridal party an absolutely magical and cohesive crew. Moving into the marquee, the single stem rose theme carried through onto the table styling, with a single spray of baby’s breath and mini Bower Estate Honey jar wedding favours adorning each place setting. Making the most of the incredible night sky to be seen through our signature clear marquee, a simple circular light and greenery installation was hung in the centre of the marquee. This created a focal point above the bride and grooms seats. Steering away from traditional head table configurations, these lovebirds parked themselves in the absolute centre of the marquee to get amongst the party!
Ridgeway Catering personalised the menu for this couple, creating a delicious cannoli tower in place of a traditional wedding cake. For example menus and more information about catering options at The Bower Estate, visit our catering page here.
