Bower Cottage
Our Cottage at The Bower Estate is an idyllic escape; a truly romantic hinterland wedding accommodation location. Perfect for small functions, bridal party preparations and accommodation for newlyweds, the Cottage has every amenity you need to create a perfect escape. The Cottage is an original farmhouse lovingly restored to feature three bedrooms, a fireplace and wrap-around verandah to create self-contained country luxury. Come immerse yourself in an authentic Australian homestead oozing in character and charm.
The cottage features a sprawling outdoor verandah area that can double as a wet weather contingency for wedding ceremonies and outdoor events, accommodating up to 100 standing people. Or, if you want the cottage all to yourself, you can enjoy breakfast on the deck with your nearest and dearest.
Accommodating up to 10 people, The Bower Estate Cottage contains three bedrooms with:
- Master with Queen bed and ensuite
- Queen bed; and
- Two single beds
An additional two pull out sofas are provided in the rumpus room and upstairs lounge to accommodate extra guests.
A night in the cottage is like no other. Experience the serenity of quiet rural life, catch a beautiful sunset and spot wallabies, kookaburras and other wildlife at dawn and dusk. If you’re feeling adventurous, drive just two kilometres up the road to go for a walk to the renowned Natural Bridge section of Springbrook National Park. By day you can catch a giant waterfall cascading through the cave, and by night the entire roof of the cave is illuminated by South East Queensland’s famous glow worms.
