Whether it’s a few light bites to keep your guests happy while you’re getting your photos, or if you want to create a substantial dining offer, your guests can enjoy a relaxed standing style reception with our delicious canapes. You can mix and match cold and hot options, and offer lighter or more substantial servings to suit your event. Whatever you do, don’t miss out on our famous confit pork belly skewers with sticky mustard soy dressing and pickled apple. Our waiters are nearly crash tackled for these once guests have had a taste!
Our signature catering style at The Bower Estate is our deluxe feasting tables. Enjoy several courses of fine dining laid out in beautiful tiered displays on each table and shared amongst guests. Delicious food aside, this dining style allows you to cater to all appetites and tastes with guests being able to graze and choose menu items as they please. Another great bonus is the beautiful display of food adorning the centres of your tables. You can reduce the amount of floral arrangements, decor and styling needed for your tables - the food does the talking!
Alternate Drop Meals
For a classically elegant evening, we offer a variety of meals that can be served to guests alternately with delicious sides, starters and petit fours to finish. No matter your guests food preferences or tolerances, we’ve got the menus to suit. Imagine Moreton Bay Bug tortellini to start, followed by miso glazed king salmon on a preserved lemon and dill risotto with a side of rocket, pear and candied walnut salad, finished off with a vanilla bean panna cotta with salted caramel popcorn crumble. Your guests will be rolling out of the Bower Estate grinning from ear to ear.
From the Land
Delicious honey is provided by a growing collection of hives across the family properties. The fruits of the Bower Bees labour can be enjoyed in seasonal menus and purchased as bonbonniere gifts for your guests. Keep an eye on the Ridgeway menus for local feature ingredients. From season to season, you might see bush lemons, honey, finger limes, or other treats grown and produced both onsite and in the South east Queensland region.
